Wybo Boersma was born just before World War II and witnessed the occupation and liberation of Groningen. He served in the Dutch Army (1960–1991) and later led the Airborne Museum Hartenstein. A longtime battlefield guide, he specializes in Market Garden and other WWII campaigns across Europe.
